Description
A penny loafer in dark brown calf, with a softly rounded toe and a classic penny strap. Blake stitched for a flexible fit that adapts as you wear it. A leather board heel stiffener and cork filling give quiet structure without stiffness. The upper catches light with a muted finish and every seam is kept deliberate. Moves from tailored slacks to summer suiting.

How your new loafers should feel
Loafers, by design, should fit snugly to compensate for the lack of lacing—without pinching. The heel should feel secure, with no slipping, while the toe box should allow for a slight amount of movement. A snug fit offers better support, reduces excessive movement, enhances the shoe’s appearance, and promotes proper foot placement for comfort and stability.
After a few wears, the cork layer in the sole and the leather upper will gradually conform to the shape of your feet, providing an even better fit.
Care
- Rotate between wears and insert shoe trees after use to retain shape and minimise creasing.
- Use a shoe horn when putting them on to protect the heel counter.
- Wipe the leather upper after wear to remove dust and light surface marks.
- Apply a matching cream polish occasionally to nourish the leather, then buff to a shine.
- Use a leather conditioner a few times a year to keep the upper supple.
- Let them dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Store in the dust bag provided, away from damp and direct light.
