Description
A driving loafer in taupe suede, with an almond toe, tonal stitching and a small bow. The rubber driving sole gives control behind the wheel and grip on an unhurried walk. Leather lining and a padded insole keep it comfortable over long journeys. The construction stays flexible, so it moves with the foot from the first wear. Easy with tailored slacks, relaxed denim or light summer trousers.

How your new loafers should feel
Loafers, by design, should fit snugly to compensate for the lack of lacing—without pinching. The heel should feel secure, with no slipping, while the toe box should allow for a slight amount of movement. A snug fit offers better support, reduces excessive movement, enhances the shoe’s appearance, and promotes proper foot placement for comfort and stability.
After a few wears, the cork layer in the sole and the leather upper will gradually conform to the shape of your feet, providing an even better fit.
Care
- Rotate between wears and insert shoe trees after use to retain shape and minimise creasing.
- Use a shoe horn when putting them on to protect the heel counter.
- Once dry, brush the suede upper gently with a suede brush to lift the nap and remove dust.
- Treat with a suede protector spray before first wear and reapply after heavy rain.
- Lift marks with a suede eraser rather than water.
- Let them dry naturally at room temperature, away from direct heat or sunlight.
- Store in the dust bag provided, away from damp and direct light.

Every product page has its own size guide with EU, UK, US and centimetre conversions for that specific last. Trace your foot, measure heel to longest toe, and match it to the table. Our loafers fit large, so we usually recommend going half a size down, while the Oxfords and boots run true to size. If you are between sizes, email us at support@manofatto.store before ordering.
No. This is the final production run. Each size was made once and will not be produced again. When a size sells out, it leaves the site for good, so if you find your size available, it is the last time you will.
Every pair is bench-lasted by hand in leather chosen for the model. Construction varies by shoe: our Oxfords, boots and several loafers are Goodyear welted, so the sole is stitched rather than glued and can be resoled for years. Lighter models are Blake stitched for flexibility. The construction of each pair is listed under Details on its product page.
Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. We offer free worldwide shipping, with delivery typically taking 7 to 15 business days depending on your location. You'll receive a tracking link as soon as your order ships.
Every pair is covered by a 1-year craftsmanship warranty on construction, stitching and sole attachment, honoured until the last day, even after the workshop closes.
